Teaching philosophy
Speaking should feel safe before it feels perfect. We start with sentences you can use immediately, then shape the tones and pronunciation together. I correct gently, repeat often, and never make you feel silly for trying.

Native Thai teacher · Bangkok
I am Khuanpitcha, a native Thai speaker from Bangkok, and I have been teaching Thai to international students online since 2017. Before teaching, I worked in hospitality, where I spent every day helping people from all over the world feel at home in a language that was completely new to them.
That is still how I teach. My students are beginners, travelers, expats, partners of Thai speakers and professionals — people with real lives and limited time. So lessons are built around what you actually need to say this week, not around a textbook chapter.

I love the moment a student stops translating in their head and just answers. Watching someone go from a nervous 'sawasdee' to joking with a taxi driver never stops being the best part of my week.
